Teaching is always on a one to one basis. Multi-sensory teaching methods are employed. The Alpha to Omega programme by Hornsby & Shear is used as a base and supplemented with whatever is considered necessary to help the individual concerned. We use a variety of work books, games and computer programs. Activities are changed frequently to keep students on track. Blocks of work are built slowly, in order to facilitate success, thus providing positive reinforcement.

Regular 'in-service' days and attendance at seminars and conferences keep our tutors abreast of new, effective methodology and current research.

In order to avoid dyslexics regressing during the school holidays, it may be possible to arrange 'intensive' tuition. We may be able to arrange a course in your own home (even if you live outside the UK).

We have a great deal of experience of teaching people of other nationalities. For this to be successful the standard of spoken English must be good. Expats can also benefit from this service.   Let us know what you need and we shall do our best to help.
